The aim of this study was to understand the impacts SARS-CoV-2 on breastfeeding. This is an integrative literature review carried out in online databases LILACS, BDENF and MEDLINE. descriptors used search were “Breastfeeding” AND “Coronavirus” “Postpartum period”. covered period January 2021. Studies Portuguese English selected. Eleven articles met eligibility criteria composed reading summary review. According studies, there are several factors that impact breastfeeding face SARS-CoV-2, we can mention insecurity lactating women biggest factor prevents maintenance uncertainties surround it throughout pandemic. It concluded mothers with COVID-19 safe, following appropriate infection control measures prevent mother-infant contagion, reduce early weaning, must carry educational activities prenatal training multidisciplinary team encourage exclusive view its benefits.
